“Dear SV,” the popular public service program hosted by Sam Verzosa, will go off air soon.
Sam himself broke the news to us recently, relating the move is requisite to his ongoing campaign as mayoralty candidate in Manila.
“Nasa batas yan e so, kailangan nating sundin,” he said, referring to Section 6.6 of Republic Act No. 9006.
“Pero sandali lamang ito,” he assured. “Pagkatapos ng eleksyon e, panigurado balik tayo sa pagtulong sa ating mga kababayan through the show.”

In any case, fans need not fret as Sam’s girlfriend Rhian Ramos is set to take over the time slot he is vacating.
According to Sam, there is ongoing talk about “Dear SV” being replaced momentarily by a lifestyle show as hosted by Rhian.
Sam has his hands full convincing voters of his good intentions for the city of Manila in the past months.
More, he has been going around doling goods, scholarships grants, start-up businesses.

Sam is now out to expose those whom he deemed as “deceitful personalities” eager to dupe Manileños anew.
Just recently, he and several followers marched to the Kartila Ng Katipunan near Manila City Hall to denounce the alleged selling of several properties in the city amounting to billions.
He didn’t name names but Sam made clear: “Hindi na natin papayagan ito. Babawiin natin ito. Para sa mga Manileño ang mga ito.”
He continued, “Bilyon-bilyon ang kinita ng mga taong ito sa ginawa nila, samanatalang ang Manila e, bangkarote na ang treasury. So, saan napunta ang pera?”
