Jovit Baldivino dies at 29

Singer Jovit Baldivino has passed away.

He was 29.

This was confirmed by his family in a statement, relating the “Pilipinas Got Talent” winner died Friday,
Dec. 9, 4 am.

His death came only a few days after he was rushed to the Nazareth of Jesus Hospital in Batangas, Dec.
3, Saturday.

According to a report, the singer was brought there supposedly after collapsing at a gathering following
a performance.

“He gave in to clamor of the crowd. He sang 3 signature songs including ‘Faithfully’ by Journey. He was
gasping for breath on the third song,” part of the family’s statement read.

Jovit underwent operation after a computerized tomography (CT) scan revealed a blood clot in his brain.

He was in a coma for five days before he eventually succumbed.

Jovit was last seen on television via the reality game show “Family Feud” only a few days ago.

He started his showbiz career in 2010, becoming the first-ever “Pilipinas Got talent” winner.

Apart from establishing himself as a singer of note, Jovit also tried his hand in acting, appearing in a couple of ABS-CBN dramas.

He has a daughter with ex-girlfriend Shara Chavez.
