SUV rams into bank in QC

According to witnesses, they heard a loud grinding noise when the engine of the SUV started then it suddenly moved forward going all the way to the bank’s cashier counter. A service utility vehicle (SUV) rammed into a bank along EDSA in Quezon City Wednesday morning.

Photos taken at the site of the accident showed the SUV had entered the bank’s premises and stopped right in front of the counters which are located several meters from the entrance of LandBank of the Philippines on Congressional Ave.

Due to the impact, several properties were damaged, including an ATM (automated teller machine).

Witnesses in the area said they heard a grinding noise when the car’s engine started. The SUV was driven by a female driver who is reportedly a medical practitioner.

Police have yet to release a report regarding the incident. (Joseph Pedrajas)
