No problem and feeling good.

Philippine General Hospital (PGH) director Dr. Gerardo Legaspi said he did not experience severe reactions after he was vaccinated with the Sinovac coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccine.

Legaspi made history on Monday when he became the first Filipino to officially receive the COVID-19 vaccine in the country.

“Generally, it went well for me, except for a little soreness on my left shoulder but otherwise it was a regular day for me when I got home,” said Legaspi in an interview with ABS-CBN News Channel.

“I feel good, I feel excited again to start another day because I saw the long line of vaccinees outside waiting for their turn today,” he added.

Legaspi said that 128 PGH personnel were vaccinated during the first day of vaccination rollout in the hospital.

The PGH head said that he is expecting that more hospital staff will avail the Sinovac vaccine.

Alongside Legaspi, Food and Drug Administration Director-General Rolando Enrique Domingo and Infectious Disease Expert Dr. Edsel Salvana were also vaccinated at the PGH last Monday.
