Cagayan lady cop missing

LASAM, Cagayan – Elements of Police Regional Office 2 (PRO2) are working double time to locate the missing lady cop assigned here.

Lt. Col. Amdree Abella, spokesperson of PRO2, said that on Feb. 20, Jemma Camangeg, 49, of Lasam Cagayan, reported in his office that her sister, Police Master Sergeant Jovelyn Camangeg, 40, has been missing since Feb. 18.

The police officer has been assigned to Lasam Police Station.

According to the elder Camangeg, her sister informed her that she will be driving to Tuguegarao City at 5 a.m. on that day to seek a loan and pick up an order (slim coffee) to be delivered to Solana.

The lady cop, who was wearing a pair of maong pants and an olive green t-shirt with PULIS marking, drove to Tuguegarao using her orange Toyota Wigo car.

She failed to return as promised and her mobile phone was out of coverage when contacted several times.

Prior to that, the police officer joined a virtual seminar on Integrated Transformation Program Seminar (ITP) from Feb. 11-17. (Liezle Basa Inigo)
