Extreme itching

Dear Doc Rica Cruz,

My parents are quite strict at hindi pa daw ako puwedeng magboyfriend. Mid-20s na ako and active naman akong makipag-date for the past years. Gumagamit ako ng online dating app and had sex with one of my dates. Pero after, parang merong extreme itching akong nararamdaman. Meron ding white discharge na parang creamy ‘yung dating. Natatakot naman akong magpasama sa parents ko sa doktor dahil malalaman nila lahat ng ginagawa ko. Sex-related kaya to? Sobrang worried ko na kasi.

Nakakatakot talaga kapag parang out of order ang iyong body. Lalo na kapag merong discharge or itchiness involved. Lalo pang nakakastress because you are keeping this from your parents. I hope that in the future, you are able to develop a more open communication with them and sana they also begin to understand your needs as an adult.

Whether the symptoms that you may be feeling are sex-related or not, the best way talaga is to get diagnosed and get treatment as soon as possible para hindi ka na masyadong nag-aalala or para wala ka nang discomfort. Maraming causes for discomfort and discharge kagaya ng yeast infection. Not just because you want to be checked down there, sexual na agad in nature. You can also seek the help of someone else like a friend or officemate to accompany you if you are not so much up to the task of having yourself checked alone.

Merong mga health centers where you can have professionals diagnose you and recommend treatment. ‘Wag kang mahihiya or matakot na magpatingin. It is better that you get to the bottom of what is happening to you. In the future, keep enjoying but always remember to be safe with your adventures and dates to avoid these kinds of situations.
