The King Of Talk, Boy Abunda, is back.
He is to host a new show dubbed “Sabado Bago Live,” which will stream virtually beginning Nov. 28, Saturday, at 4 p.m. via Facebook.
Of course, he is excited about it.
Abunda shared in a statement, “This is the very first time that I will be doing something like this in this format, streaming on a social media platform. I don’t know how the show will turn out and that excites me very, very much.”
“Sabado Bago Live,” co-hosted by Gretchen Ho, is conceptualized as a means to provide quality, top-notch entertainment to millions of Filipinos now staying at home because of the pandemic.
Some of the show’s highly-anticipated segments are “T.O.P Trending Online Posts,” which gives a rundown of trending social media buzz and entertainment news of the week; “The Full Blast,” which showcases normal folk who went viral on the web; and “Launch Pad,” a segment that focuses on Puregold’s brand partners as they introduce first-in-market products and campaigns.
Why Puregold?
Well, the show is primarily sponsored by the brand, which is quite dear to Abunda.
“I have a very special relationship with Puregold. They are family to me and I feel that I am home with them,” he said.
Note Puregold’s online presence via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube is now among the biggest and widest with over 3 million followers.
