BACOLOD CITY – A suspected member of the New People’s Army (NPA) wanted for arson was arrested last Monday in Barangay Mabini, Escalante City, Negros Occidental, police reported Tuesday.
Military troops and police served an arrest warrant against Dandy Jimenez, 39, of San Jose, Toboso town.
Based on reports, Jimenez was one of the suspects in the burning of the transloading facility of the Victorias Milling Corporation in Barangay San Jose, Toboso town sometime in 2009.
Jimenez is presently detained at Toboso Municipal Police Station. (Glazyl Masculino)
