TEMPERATURE has been rising as we are getting more heated up this summer and the coming months.

Last May 4, Pag-asa recorded a high 36.5 C in Metro Manila, reason why people had been complaining of so much heat.

Under normal times without COVID-19, people would have been going to cool places.

Example: Tagaytay in Cavite has an elevation of 2,300 feet.

Mount Makiling in Laguna stands taller at 3,500 feet.

Baguio City has an elevation of more than 5,000 feet.

These are just some of our cool places.

There are many more places in the Philippines that have higher elevation, thereby offering cool weather.

Some can be found in the Visayas, others in Mindanao.

In Luzon, high places known for their cool weather are found in Tanay (Rizal), Lucban (Quezon), and some small towns in Laguna (Majayjay, for one) at the foot of Mount Banahaw. Lipa City in Batangas is another.

Benedicto in Negros Occidental also enjoys cool weather due to its high elevation. In Mindanao, Bukidnon is considered the Baguio of the south.

The heart of a shrimp is located in its head.

A snail can sleep for three years.

A row of corn always has an even number.
