Coach Tab Baldwin’s squad moved on the cusp of a title, rebounding from a shock Game 2 loss to produce a 67-54 win last Thursday.

Thirdy Ravena, Ange Kouame and Isaac Go, who emerged as the surprise winner of the tournament’s Most Valuable Player award, are expected to bring their A-games against a CEU squad determined to keep its Cinderella run alive.

“We have to play each game and be present for each game. We can’t look past every game and we have to make sure we do our job for the next game,” said Cignal-Ateneo assistant coach Sandy Arespacochaga.

Arespacochaga was mentioning of how the Blue Eagles played as if they were too overconfident in Game 2 which allowed the Scorpions to surprise everyone with a 77-74 win.
