The Philippine National Police (PNP) has released a total of P7, 011,056,073.55 allotted for the 2018 year-end bonus of 191,619 uniformed and non-uniformed PNP personnel nationwide.

The PNP Finance Service said the year-end bonus represents the equivalent amount of one-month basic salary and the mandated P5,000 cash gift from the national government.

PNP chief Director General Oscar Albayalde, however, said the release of year-end bonuses is deferred for PNP personnel with pending administrative and criminal cases as part of disciplinary policy.

Albayalde said he hopes that every policemen is happy this Christmas.
