Five-peat seeking National University overwhelmed University of the Philippines, 106-49, to solidify its hold of top spot Sunday in the UAAP Season 81 women’s basketball tournament at the Blue Eagle Gym.

The Lady Bulldogs, who improved to 4-0, have extended their remarkable winning streak to 68 games since winning their first title.

Far Eastern University was equally impressive as it cruised to a 77-55 win over De La Salle.

In other games, University of Santo Tomas rolled to a 67-38 win over Ateneo for a 3-1 card, while Adamson University prevailed over University of the East, 61-45, for a 2-2 slate.

The Lady Falcons tied the Lady Archers for fourth place, while the Lady Eagles lost their third consecutive game after a 2-0
start in sixth spot.

The Lady Warriors and the Lady Maroons fell at 1-4 and 0-5 cards, respectively.
