Ano po ba ang pwedeng symptoms na may sakit ako. Napansin ko po kasi na minsan kumakati ang penis ko. Tapos minsan din po ay may nakikita akong parang bilog-bilog na parang sugat sa ilalim at baba ng ulo. Ano po kaya ito?

Hello Worry Wart,
May iba’t ibang conditions, bacteria, at virus na pwedeng magsanhi ng pagkati at pagkakaroon ng maliit na sugat ng penis mo. Mas maiging magpunta ka sa health center o kaya sa doctor para makita nila ito at mabigyan ka ng accurate na diagnosis.
Having said that, ito ang iba’t ibang pwedeng maging sanhi ng nararamdaman mo na pagkakaroon ng red, itchy, at bumpy na penis:
– Genital warts: galing ito sa human papiloma virus (HPV) na pwedeng matransfer through skin to skin contact;
– Genital herpes: this is a common sexually transmitted infection (STI) which can appear as small sores and lesions around the penis. Pwede itong magmukhang pimples o kaya blisters na nagiging parang scab over time. Pwede rin ito maging makati through the process;
– Ringworm: ito ay isang fungal infection na mukhang pula at circular na parang rash. Makati ito at kumakalat;
– Molluscum contagiosum virus (MCV): ito ay isang benign skin infection na usually nakikita as small bumps;
– Scabies: ito ay mukhang parang pimple na sobrang kati at lumalala kapag gabi;
– Primary phase syphilis: ito ay nagbibigay ng maliit na lesions sa penis at magagamot through antibiotics.
Lahat ito are conditions that can be sexually transmitted. Kaya mas nakakabuti na alam mo kung ano ang meron ka so you can protect your partner from transmitting the disease and treat yourself at the same time.
If you can’t refrain from having sexual contact, it is best that you use a condom everytime you do. Again, madaming iba’t ibang pwedeng maging cause ng kung anong meron ka ngayon.
Though it can be stressful, do know na kapag nagpatingin ka, ay magagamot naman ito nang maayos. Ang importante ay matugunan ito agad para hindi na makahawa at lumala. #takeitfromthesexymind
