BIEBER’S FATHER-IN-LAW: In Manila recently was Hollywood actor Stephen Baldwin to shoot his scenes in a local-going-international film, “Kaibigan.”
Baldwin is hot news in entertainment circles these days following Justin Bieber’s announcement of his engagement to his model-daughter, Hailey.
At a “Kaibigan” media conference, the press was prohibited, however, from asking Stephen about the engagement. Guess they wanted to focus on his participation in the film.
Baldwin has to his credit over 100 TV and movie roles that include Barney Rubble in “The Flintstones: Viva Rock Vegas,” and William Cody in TV series “The Young Riders.”

MISSION TO INSPIRE: “Kaibigan,” written in English, is an inspirational film about troubled Filipino youths.
The movie launches the career of half-American twins Jesse and Christian Perkins, singer-actors who have embraced an advocacy to inspire young people to live a good, God-centered life.
The Perkins Twins have covered over 500 campuses nationwide, bringing entertainment to students as they forward this message: No drugs, no alcohol, no bullying.

COMEBACK: “Kaibigan” also marks the movie comeback of former DoT official Cesar Montano, who is also co-directing the film with Daniel Tan.
The movie, set for international release, also stars Tirso Cruz III, Boots Anson Roa, Lani Mercado, Alvin Anson, among others.
