CALAMBA CITY, Laguna – A store owner was gunned down by four unidentified assassins, Thursday at Mayon Street, Dennis 2 Subdivision, Barangay 5 here.
Police identified the victim as one Carina dela Cruz, 49. The victim was manning her store when repeatedly shot by the suspects.
Recovered from the crime scene were five spent bullets believed to be from a .45 caliber handgun. According to police, they are looking into personal grudge as possible motive in the killing.
