SAN PABLO CITY, Laguna – A former agent of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) was shot dead by police here Wednesday along with two cohorts following a buy-bust operation.
Senior Superintendent Kirby John Kraft, Laguna police director, identified the suspect as Reynaldo Dante. The shoot out happened around 5 a.m. at the Kalibato Lake Resort in Sitio Biuyan, Barangay St. Angel with the trio realizing they have entered into a transaction with a poseur-buyer.
The three fired at the arresting agents who immediately retaliated shooting the suspects dead. Recovered at the crime scene were seven sachets of suspected shabu, three pistols, and drug money.
