CAMP ELPIDIO QUIRINO, Ilocos Sur – Police is now on the lookout for a man who allegedly hacked his own father to death in Brgy. Aragan, Cabugao Monday.
In a report, Sr. Supt Jovencio Badua, Ilocos Sur police director, said the victim, identified as Florentino Vicente, 64, was attacked by his own son, Fred, who is alleged to be mentally handicapped, unprovoked.
The older Vicente was rushed to a hospital in Cabugao, but was pronounced dead by Dr. Mark Lawrence Tirao, attending physician. Fred has since made himself scarce.
