Ex-top intel cop laid to rest

Retired police Gen. Rodolfo “Boogie” Mendoza, regarded as among the top intelligence officers in the Philippines, was laid to rest in his hometown in Pangasinan yesterday.

Mendoza died after suffering from a heart attack last March 28, according to his family. He was laid to rest at the Bugallon Public Cemetery in Bugallon.

Family, close friends, and colleagues paid their last tributes to him, according to his daughter, Aizza. A mass was held at the St. Andrew the Apostle Parish.
