National University is leaving nothing but the lessons learned from absorbing its first loss in the season in UAAP women’s volleyball.
“Move on na lang,” Jaja Santiago, the heart and soul of the Lady Bulldogs, said moments after bowing to the Far Eastern University Lady Tamaraws, 25-22, 25-27, 25-13, 25-20, last Wednesday.
“Maganda naman yung pinakita ng bawat isa. Talagang tinarabaho lang ng FEU ngayon,” added the 6-foot-5 opposite hitter.
The loss was a bitter-pill to swallow for NU as it ended its five-game winning run highlighted by impressive victories against fancied teams Ateneo and La Salle.
Their last match in the first-round eliminations will be against the University of the Philippines on Sunday, and the Lady Bulldogs are expected to regain their form as far as Santiago is concerned.
“Back to reality – training and then game,” Santiago said.
The Lady Bulldogs, however, are not taking the Lady Maroons lightly as UP is coming off a morale-boosting 31-33, 25-23, 25-16, 25-12 win over University of Santo Tomas also on Wednesday.
“Sobrang nakakapagod matalo kaya kailangan naming i-defend at manalo,” said UP veteran Tots Carlos, who sizzled with 32 points against the Tigresses.
909849 688314There is an ending. Just remember that I meant for this to be an art game. I do feel like I spent an inordinate amount of time on the more traditional gameplay elements, which might make the meaning with the game a bit unclear. In the event you mess around with it though, youll discover it. 125135
