SSS executive shot dead

TIAONG, Quezon – A division head of the Social Security System (SSS) regional office here was shot dead right inside her office by an unidentified suspect Sunday evening.

Senior Superintendent Rhoderick Armamento, Quezon Provincial Police Office director, identified the victim as Expectacion B. Baldeo, 64, the widow of former Quezon 2nd District Board Member Regore Baldeo who himself was murdered in 2010. Their daughter, Monica, is an incumbent municipal councilor.

Armamento said the fatal shooting occurred around 6:20 p.m. with the victim sustaining multiple gunshot wounds in the chest and face.

The gunman, who quickly fled the scene on board a motorcycle, was described as supposedly wearing a brown t-shirt, short pants, and slippers.
