The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration said a low-pressure area southeast of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan has developed into tropical depression “Tino” and was expected to make landfall in southern Palawan yesterday afternoon.
Tropical cyclone warning signal No. 1 was raised as Tino approached Palawan.
