A thrilling, edge-of-your-seat film, “The Mountain Between Us” is directed by the masterful Oscar nominated filmmaker Hany Abu-Assad (“Paradise Now”), Winslet takes on the role of Alex, a journalist, and Elba plays Ben, a neurosurgeon who both embark on a perilous, transformational journey, despite the odds stacked firmly against them. Braving the elements in freezing temperatures, they have to use all their resources to stay alive.
At its heart, “The Mountain Between Us” is an inspiring exploration of selflessness, courage and humanity at its best that will open in (Phils.) theaters nationwide on October 25 from 20th Century Fox to be distributed by Warner Bros.
