Police seized some P45-million worth of shabu from a 36-year-old suspected Chinese drug pusher in a buy-bust operation in Malate, Manila Tuesday.
Director Victor Deona, head of the Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, identified the suspect as Norman Hung Wang.
Deona said Wang was arrested after selling a kilo of shabu valued at P5 million to a police poseur-buyer in the parking lot of a mall.
A search of the suspect’s car yielded eight more kilos of shabu valued at P40 million.
Appropriate charges will be filed against the suspect.
